Study Name: Exploring associations between subclinical autism traits and everyday functioning in the general adult population
Description: This is an anonymous, online study. The aim of the study is to examine, within the general adult population, the associations between sub-clinical autism traits and everyday functioning. Specifically, this study will examine the relations between subclinical autism traits, friendship quality, and sensory perception. Additionally, you will be asked to report your age, gender, occupation, and highest educational qualification. If you choose to take part in this study, you will be asked to complete a series of four questionnaires online; it is estimated that it will take up to 30 minutes to complete the entire set. Participants can view the study on their own devices (i.e. mobile phones, PC’s).
Eligibility: 18 years old and over; NO formal diagnosis of autism
Duration: Up to 30 minutes
Credits: Psychology students at ARU will earn 0.5 SONA credits

The study has received ethics approval by the School of Psychology and Sport Science Research Ethics Panel (SREP) and ratified by the Faculty Research Ethics Panel under the terms of Anglia Ruskin University’s Research Ethics Policy and the Code of Practice for Applying for Ethical Approval at Anglia Ruskin University.
