How does the funding for a degree apprenticeship work?

Hey there,

I am currently on a degree apprenticeship programme with my current employer (upskill apprenticeship) in a current full time role hopefully training for future promotions.

I have come to the realisation that I am not interested in the field I am studying (2 years into a 5 year degree) and my employer isn't actually best suited to offer me the experience needed.

I have decided to withdraw from the Govt funded degree apprenticeship and return to my current role until I decide what I want to do.

As the degree apprenticeship is Govt funded, if I find a different degree apprenticeship in the future which I am interested in, would I be able to apply and undertake a different degree apprenticeship?

Basically I am asking will I be black listed due to withdrawing early from my current apprenticeship.

As far as I am aware I would be able to do another apprenticeship as there is no limit but would like some information from more clued up folks.

Many Thanks, 😊
