How is the teaching delivered?

Do you want to hand write your notes or type instead?

If you want to hand write notes, then a tablet and stylus is far far faster. I don't know about your course though or how lectures will be delivered or how much content is involved.

Thank you so much for your reply.
The course is very practical, with 65% of it working in theatres on hospital placement.
Teaching is a mixture of lectures and practical sessions.
I think I am leaning towards iPad, but was wondering if the iPad is also the best option for writing essays etc?

Which apps are the best for note taking on the iPad?

Thank you 🙏

Hi,

I have both a MacBook and an iPad, and I’d recommend a laptop for assignments as it makes writing essays and accessing different software much easier. You could also visit a store to see what would work best for you.

An iPad is also great for making digital notes. I use the GoodNotes app, and you can always purchase a keyboard to type, so it really depends on what you would prefer.

Another option is a Windows 2 in 1 laptop and tablet, which gives you the functionality of both devices.

Hope this helps,

You can get a dedicated keyboard for your Ipad or attach a full size one (plus full size second monitor if needed) and type essays that way if needed.
