Diagnostic radiography - Cumbria or Liverpool?

I have received offers to study Diagnostic Radiography at the University of Cumbria and the University of Liverpool.
If anyone has studied at either university, I would really appreciate your feedback and experiences to help me decide which one to choose.

In terms of the courses, they will be held to same standard by the HCPC so in that respect it doesn't matter where you study. For Cumbria, is your offer for Carlisle or Lancaster? Both of these cities are much smaller than Liverpool. If you're looking for great nightlife, Liverpool is the better option.

Ask for copies of this year's timetable from the departments and compare placement dates and holidays. Some unis use up a lot of the standard uni holidays for placements, other don't. Also think about placement locations and how you would travel to them.

Then compare accommodation prices for all years of the course (uni halls and then private student housing). Have you been to the offer-holder days?

I’ve received an offer from Lancaster for Cumbria. My main focus is on the quality of education and exam preparation, but I’m unsure which option would be better for me. I wasn’t aware of the offer holder days, but I’ll definitely look into them.
Thank you for your response.

Hi @aaminah789
Well done on receiving your offers! Have you attended any open days for these universities? This is a great way to get a feel for a place and see what you think of the university and city - it may sound silly but sometimes you can instantly tell when a university is the right fit for you!
