Fashion marketing - Portfolio??
Hiiii, is anyone planning onto doing fashion marketing course this September. If so, did anyone had to submit a portfolio specifically regarding to the course, because i’ve got my offer from my uni (derby) but there was no mention of a portfolio anywhere on my conditional offer letter. However, it says on the uni website for the entry requirements that a portfolio is recommended?? i’m so confused!!

It may be that they send requests out for portfolio after sending offers... which can happen sometimes, although (personally) I think it's confusing when universities do it. I'd strongly suggest you don't firm anything yet.
Email their admissions email - for derby that's [email protected] and ask if you can still expect to submit a portfolio.
Maybe their admissions criteria has changed and you are no longer required to submit one, but I would really suggest you wait until you know that for sure.
This has the alarm bells ringing that reminds me of this situation with Brighton Uni, maybe @PQ can advise further?

there is some information on the University of Derby website about portfolio requirements, what to include and submission details 🤗. Like what aspalax said, it is definitely worth contacting their admissions team for clarification.
