Hi there,
Why not visit them on one of their upcoming Applicant Visit Days to get a better feel for the social life and surrounding amenities 😚 Open Days are a great way to speak to current students about their experience and ask them about the things they enjoy about that university 😉 It is also the best way to clarify any doubts or queries you may have regarding the course and university.
I hope this helps!

Hi!

I 100% agree that an offer holder day is the right next step for you! Feeling the "vibe" of the university, asking current students about the social life and exploring the local area seems to be exactly what you need!

I'd also like to recommend you head onto the university students union website and see what societies they offer. Societies are one of the main forms of social events/ gathering at university and it should provide a good idea of the groups available!

When it comes to shopping, I recommend looking on google maps and checking out what's available in a local area and the reviews!

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,

Hi!

I know I am not from Keele, but I just thought I would respond with the same advice I would say to someone asking about Hallam!

The best thing is to go to an applicant open day, as others have said here. This is the best chance to get to meet people, talk to tutors and current students and then you will get the best answers to questions that you have about uni life, the course and accommodation etc.

You can also look online on The Ambassador Platform' as there might be people on here from Keele. Not every uni is on here but a few are so it is worth having a look as you can see if there are any current students there as they will be the best people to ask about social life and what it is like.

If you have any general course questions as well, you can look on Keele uni website and see if there are any staff profiles and they may have their email on here. If so, you can always email them any questions you have if you are unable to get to an open day.

In terms of shopping, if you can get to Keele at all you will be able to see what the shopping is like, or as people said here have a look on google maps as you will be able to see what is around!

I hope some of this helps,

Lucy -SHU student ambassador.
