Not sure what subject to drop

Hi I’m a y12 student taking maths chemistry physics
We have the choice to start further maths in y13 as we finish a level maths in yr12.
I’m not sure what subject to drop and if I am capable for doing further maths next year. I will definitely be dropping a subject as 4 a levels is too much for me
I’m currently getting a A in maths and a low B in physics and chemistry
I want to do a finance/accounting related course at ideally ucl,Manchester, kcl, lse, imperial

Choose whichever you think you'll enjoy more! Look at the specs and see which has better topics for Year 13 🙂
I did Accounting for one year at Lancaster University, I did Further Maths (FM) as one of my A-levels. In my experience FM wasn't needed for Accounting, not unless the university you go to let's you choose a Maths minor AND you choose it (like I did), in that case the Further Maths would be a big help.

When you say you finish A level Maths in Year 12, are you sitting the A level then? If not, why not?

No we will sit the a level in yr13 so if we decide to drop further maths it will be replaced on the timetable as normal maths revision classes

That's a bit unusual. Quite a few school teach Maths/FMaths but taking Maths at the end of Year 12 then starting FMaths so you are only ever taking 3 A levels.

Between chemistry and physics, which do you enjoy most and think you will end up getting the better grade in?

I find chemistry better in the exams but during lessons it’s the opposite
Is further maths a lot harder than the sciences should I consider dropping that instead as I’ve heard y13 chemistry and physics is awful
I just want atleast AAA so I’m basically picking 3 subjects which will be the easiest for me to achieve the grade

If you want to do accounting/finance then id stick with the further maths.
If you are doing better in exams with chemistry, then would it be better to stick with chemistry (and drop physics). Or if you are better in lessons in physics- do you think you could improve in the exams (in which case id keep physics and drop chemistry).
