TSR Community Awards 2025

:king1: :king2: :king3:

This is a thread for all Feedback & Suggestions regarding TSR Community Awards 2025.

A number of changes have been made this year:
- The Member of the Year award excluded FH, VT, VSL and CS nominations
- User nominations were limited to members who were active during 2025 and whose accounts were created in or before 2025, and thread nominations were limited to threads created in 2025
- Award descriptions were included to explain the purpose of each award and criteria to follow when making a nomination

In this thread, you are welcome to post suggestions regarding:
- New awards we could have
- Awards you think should be removed
- Changes to criteria
- Changes to the format and process of the awards

Please do not:
- Make personal comments about other users
- Make any targeted comments about the VT, VSLs or CS
These posts will be removed and users will be carded
Award proposal: Best creator of seasonal anime preview threads.
The idea to use a nomination more than once was the best one for years. Please keep this procedure for another awards in the future!

I'm biased, obviously, but not all blogs are year-long GYG threads. So it felt a shame that thread-based categories were restricted to being created in 2025

I disagree with the post above mine, in that I worried (and would worry in future years) that people could potentially win awards, despite having just one person voting for them, but voting several times. I feel this skews the votes and could make the awards less meaningful/impactful.

Just my tuppence :colondollar:

And before I forget to say this: the statistic awards were a good idea this time.

Another suggestion: adding 'honour awards' (Being on TSR for 15 or 20 years being Forum Helper or Volunteer for 10 years, written over 50,000 or 100,000 posts for example).

Ceterum censeo International Member of The Year esse reveniendam! (In my opinion ... has to be come back!)
