OxStu writers are clearly the more attractive.

I must point out, as a member of the bastion of Cherwell that is Univ, that it is a wonderful publication, headed by a man of outstanding skill and integrity. Actually, Jack is a nice guy, and playing on his own stereotype in a rendition of "Rob in da Hood" for a Christmas pantomime was hilarious.

Though Kate is quite cute...

"People get pissed, and fight!" Pages 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13.

I agree - the Cherwell seems to be obsessed with showing up Mansfield and telling everyone how we're crap. grrr.

They also missed the vitally important story about Hertford JCR now having a boxers bank, in case of underwear emergency.

Especially the Match Me If You Can columnist.

My college is going to be on Fit College  I dunno if that's your influence Binya, if so then cheers!

Yes, but it also includes fit college of the week within it's pages. Clearly that trumps.

Will Brown's Sexual Agony?

OK, it's not as good as Fit College. But look up "Mendelsohn's Misanthropy" from TT '04. Also not as good as Fit College, but great nonetheless.

Also, the review of Monade in this week's OxStu is fantastic. Flawless, I say. Give this man a contract!

:frown: Well to fill you in, Match Me If You Can was mostly a publicity-fest for OOTB!! Can't comment on the rest of the paper seeing as I've been away from Oxford pretty much since my birthday bar the odd visit..

the cherwell has a much better website.

currently.

Crucially, the Cherwell website actually gets updated now and again...

I might see if they need anyone for the online team next term.. I'm not sure I'll continue with the matchmaking but I still want to be involved with the OxStu.. I might switch if Cherwell offered me my own column though :p:
Reply 18
Would you want to work for the online team? It seems like quite a lot of work, for not that much reward. Not like getting a CD for half an hour's work, or an interview for an hour's...

(Music reviewing is the best thing ever)

Did you interview someone?

I think I'd enjoy doing the online stuff.. I'd much rather wangle my own column but I'm slightly geeky and like playing around with websites, it might be an opportunity to learn a few things seeing as my own website is.. er.. a bit ****..
