medicine application 2027

i did not take the ucat in 2025 so i will be taking it in 2026 to start uni in 2027 meaning i'll be taking a gap year. my stats are gcses - 988777776 (9 in rs, 8 in maths, 8 in eng lit, 7-7 in combined science, 7 in eng lang, 7 in history, 7 in french and a 6 in business). My a level predicted grades are A*A*A in maths chem and bio. if i do really well in the ucat, which london unis shall i apply for for med out of KCL EMDP, KCL, QMUL, UCL, City and Imperial? as in which of these unis i would have a higher chance of getting in also assuming i get A*A*A in my a levels.

This is a theoretical question that realistically can only be answered once you know your UCAT score. Although since you did well in your GCSEs and have a very solid set of A-levels, it's fairly reasonable to assume that you probably would get interview invites if you beat the UCAT cutoff for the unis. Imperial tends to be the one with the highest cutoff though so that'd be the riskiest one.

Good luck with your A-levels and your UCAT (don't forget to book the UCAT on the literal minute it opens, the testing slots get snatched up fast)
