How to prepare for your uni interviews?

Getting into uni interview time, I thought it would be helpful to share some quick advice for preparing for an interview.

The first thing is to make sure that you are prepared. Preparing for your interview will not only help you leave a better impression on the person interviewing, it will also help you feel more relaxed and confident. My advice if you are interviewing with a portfolio is to go over the main things you want to say in your interview, and to practice going over these in a mock interview with someone pretending to interview you.

The next thing is to make sure you pick the right type of interview. At Falmouth Uni we offer three locations for interviews: on campus, regional, and online. Take a look here and see what we recommend for different situations, https://www.falmouth.ac.uk/apply/application-toolkit/interview-tips/choosing-your-interview-type .

The last and arguably most important thing is to not overthink it. Just remember that the academics that are interviewing are genuinely interested in what you have to say and are excited to have a chat and get to know you!

Let me know if you have any questions I’m happy to help!
