What would you do ? Masters acceptance deadline looming at Bayes/awaiting Imperialia

Here is my issue : I have to accept or reject an offer for a Master's in finance at Bayes soon, before I hear back from my application for a Master's in Finance at Imperial.
I can't get any extension on the Bayes offer.

What do people do in that case ? pay the deposit at Bayes and forfeit it if Imperial comes round ? the acceptance rate is so low at Imperial that I can't just ignore Bayes and hope for the best

Does anyone know if there is a 14 days or else cooling off period for the Bayes acceptance ?

thanks
