exam results after results day

Hi,

I am completing two courses equivalent to level 3 however for one of them I may not be able to get my qualification until November. I have already notified my firm choice but haven't gotten the response yet and I am wondering if this would affect my offer as my other qualification does not give me the required ucas points for my course. Also, I have already chosen to do a foundation year so the points are already below normal. I am wondering if anyone has gone through this or what I should do in my circumstances. I preferably do not want to take a gap year.

Thanks

Is your completing those courses a requirement to achieve your offer?

Hi, Yes, my requirement is to complete both of my courses however I am predicted an A* in both of them, I don't know if that makes a difference. My degree course is a foundation year in an environmental based subject and I do not know if it would have less demand possibly.

Out of curiosity, how come you may finish one of the courses in November?

Regretfully, in your particular case it's not just about the demand of the course. It's about the fact that you will have a qualification relevant to your uni admission pending by the time university is meant to start, which I strongly suspect might mean that you cannot start this September :frown:

I would strongly advise giving your firm uni's admissions office a call to ask about your specific situation though. Maybe there's something you can do to make sure you actually have your qualifications in time? Or maybe defer? The uni's admissions team will be able to advise you.
