MMU Graphic Design 2026

Just wondering if anyone has got a response from mmu if you've applied for an arts course? I know Leeds Art were pretty fast to get back to me, and UAL has been really slow.

Hi, I got a response from them quickly after submitting my portfolio for graphic design. Just make sure you check your emails and not miss any portfolio requests. But if you've already sent in your portfolio then keep in mind unis have until May to respond so it's no reason to panic

Edit: forgot to mention that I do an art and design BTEC, I'm not sure if you do A-levels so that's why response times might be different

Hi,

responses for arts courses can vary quite a lot depending on the university and whether portfolios are involved. Some universities respond quite quickly while others take longer because of reasons like; the size of the uni with the amount of applications they get, tutors need time to review applications and creative work, etc.
It’s pretty normal for different universities to reply at completely different times. Just because one university responded quickly doesn’t necessarily mean another one is delayed in a negative way.
Personally when I was in college I saw people receive offers weeks or even months apart from different universities for the same subject. Courses that involve creative work often take longer because the admissions team review portfolios carefully.
If you applied recently it’s likely just part of the normal admissions timeline, so try not to worry too much yet.
