When can I expect to hear back from Edinburgh University?

I’m a student from England and applied for philosophy at Edinburgh, my application was submitted around the start of December.

Any idea when I could hear back?

Hi, I also applied to Edinburgh for one of my choices! 😁 First of all, Edinburgh is always late in these stuff, and when I say late I mean that they like to take their time as they want to have high graduate prospects, therefore they have strict grades and they choose carefuly and only start grading after the January deadline, they don't look at any applications before that. Then, it also depends on your chosen course.

So in general Edinburgh and some other similar unis like to take their time with it and that's it. Don't read too much into it. You can start expecting an offer in the following months.
