Hertfordshire Uni computer animation interview advice?

Hi all,
I have an interview on Friday for Herts uni for computer animation and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice/ their experience on what happens in the interview,
eg what they ask you, whats the best questions to ask the person conducting the interview anything along those lines would be really helpful!
Thank you

Hi there  it's likely that it will focus on asking you questions about pieces in your portfolio and talking through your porcess for creating them. You can practice this on your own & I found having some ideas for what to say about each of my pieces helped a lot when preparing for my interviews.

Other questions may be about your motivation for choosing that university and subject combination and what you're looking to get out of your degree & your further aspirations and motivations, but I would expect the majority to focus on your portfolio & artistic process.

Questions that might be worth asking are:
- have you had any students go on placement recently/what companies/studios did they place with?
- do lecturers have the opportunity for further study so they can support teaching the emerging technology of the industry/ies?
- how many contact hours a week do you have?
- what does access to computers and specialist software look like across campus, are there always facilities available to students for independent study?
