YR12's - how to choose Uni & course; things to do now to prep for your application

Hello Year 12s,

Starting to think about university can be very unsettling and exciting. When choosing a university in Year 12, focus on finding a balance between a course that genuinely excites you and a campus environment where you can actually see yourself living for three years. It’s helpful to attend open days and check the specific module breakdown of your degree, as the same subject can be taught very differently across different institutions.

We have some fantastic blogs which discuss subjects such as:
1. Why go to University
2. How to choose a University
3. How to choose a course
4. Build Key Skills
5. How to prep for University
6. personal statement advice

You can find Ollie's blog below, a second-year student studying computer science.
