how should i get into medicine

I got A*BBC at A-level (Psych, Bio, Eng Lit, History) and qualify for contextual/widening participation. I’m currently on a gap year after 2nd year at UCL doing English Lit.

I’m considering working and funding a second degree in a more competitive field. I struggled with confidence and mental health during A-levels and didn’t revise for more than a week or two thus not as hard as I could have, so I’m wondering if I should try again properly. Considering I most likely will be a retake for Biology (shame I was 2-3 marks off_

Options I’m thinking about:

Redo A-levels (take Chemistry) and apply for undergrad

Skip A-levels and apply via a foundation year for undergrad (idk cuz some dont allow graduates)

Go for a postgraduate route GEM Graduate Entry Medicine

This all includes finishing my current degree

How do I decide which path makes the most sense? Considering I most likely will be a retake for Biology I don't know how my chances are (shame I was 2-3 marks off)
