Libby’s very late SQA highers gyg!!

Hi guys, this is my first post on tsr and i’m looking for some motivation to continue working towards 5A1’s in my highers!
Here’s some info on my Nat 5’s and my recent prelims:

I got 7 A’s at nat 5 in Biology (96%), Chemistry (94%), Maths (100%), English (86%), RMPS (82%), History and Art.
In my recent prelims for higher I got 5 A’s (4 A1 and 1A2) in Human Biology (88%), Chemistry(81%), Maths (90%), RMPS (92%), and English (79% but tracked at A1 due to high grading folio).

I have taken Advanced higher Biology, chemistry and maths next year and i am hoping to apply for an integrated masters in Biochemistry at st andrews.
Thanks for reading, feel free to ask me anything and any motivation advice is greatly appreciated!

It’s possible that you will lose the raw data mark but you will get a mark for correct calculations! as long as your report flows and you have gone in depth in your underlying chemistry i’m sure you’ll do great! just remember it’s only 20% of the grade and you always have the exam to make up for it! good luck

If you had a raw data table your averages can be anywhere in the report as long as you say that it’s the average! if you didn’t have sources they won’t take marks off for memorising info so i think you’re all good! well done

If the information you memorised is relevant to your experiment and is detailed enough you will get marks!

Thank you so much! i get what you mean about biology it’s so specific, the best way to over come that is basically just doing loads of past papers to try get the specific wording down. Also using flashcards with the exact wording down works!
