Transferring to another university

Hello I am currently on a foundation year at coventry university and was wondering how to go about transferring to a different university.
I have been in contact with the Lincoln admissions team and they have said my foundation year would help get me onto their course. While trying to apply it says I cannot apply for this September intake which is important because I am trying to transfer from my January intake of this university due to UCAS rule about not having multiple applications for the same year intake. Is it possible to directly apply to Lincoln or someone to contact to get around this rule on UCAS as it is nearly a year difference between January intake and September.

Hi @Aiden24

Try get back in contact with the Lincoln admissions team and explain this to them again, they will guide you through it because UCAS will have to hear from them first that you are wanting to transfer. The system as you said will not allow it just because it does not recognise multiple applications but if the uni get in contact with UCAS for you they should sort it.

It may also be early anyway but better to get it done now than later! I am sure the Lincoln team will be more than happy to help you
