Hi everyone, just wanted to start a new chat for this years applicants. FYI ive applied to APEP Electrical pathway in Whitley.

Wow that was quick! I'm looking to apply for APEP aswell. I know JLR said no CV and cover letter required but is everyone adding their CV and cover letter anyways when applying?

I didn’t, since they explicitly said to use the custom boxes on the application form. I figured attaching documents is probably annoying and comes across like you haven’t read the advert. I’ve applied for DTS DA.

I've applied to the Finance one, and havent heard anything yet, applications for mine closed 2 days ago so i imagine it will take a few more days to get back to people, let us know when you hear anything!

I applied for DTS and added a CV but no cover letter. Just in case they have a subconscious preference for those who did add one. That being said, I'd prefer if they don't take it into account at all because, upon reflection, I've realised my CV was way too 'projects project projects' based. Too descriptive of what I did, and not the skills I showed/gained
