I think so but waiting until the offer holder day because I’ve never actually been to the medical school before and I really loved Aberdeen when I went - I want to make sure I’m making the right decision! Am I right in saying you’re a grad? I’ve already achieved my degree so it’s just PVG etc for me too. Do you know how we send the certificates? Aberdeen just wanted us to send them via email

I am a grad too!! I understand about wanting to see more of the city and campus itself it's the best thing to do. I myself am from a small town so want to go to a big city and experience something different ahaha. I was thinking about uploading my certificates onto the 'supporting evidence' bit of the portal because I didn't get a link or anything like that. I am assuming Glasgow will send a link for the PVG too?

I’m from a small town too. I did use to live in Glasgow west end but it’s been a long while since then so it’s going to be a huge adjustment!
When did you get your offer? Have Glasgow emailed you yet?

Our wait is finally over. Im sure everybody will recieve their offers soon. Hats off to the patience all of you out here have!!

My daughter is now confused to make her choices between - Glasgow(2B's + pass in 3rd) and St.Andrews(3B's).. Any suggestions( mainly regarding the course/placement if anybody has suggestions).

Also, if you make Glasgow as insurance and St.Andrews as firm and she gets the grades required for St.Andrews- can we still choose Glasgow after the results day?Any idea?

Got an offer from Glasgow, but don't heard anything from St Andrews yet. Can we firm the offer only after we have all the results?

Yeah I've been to the city before but thought it would be nice to meet people before starting and become familiar with a few faces. Hopefully you decide for Glasgow it's a lovely city

Hi everyone! Huge congratulations to all of you on your Medicine offers, that is such a massive achievement! 🥂

I’m a 3rd-year student here, and I just wanted to say that while the move from a small town can feel like a big adjustment, the Medical School community at Glasgow is incredibly and the West End quickly starts to feel like a friendly little village once you're settled.

Definitely head to the Offer Holder Day if you can, it’s the best way to meet your future year group and see the campus in person. You can also have a campus tour to get more details about the uni.

If you guys have any questions, please let me know. Can't wait to see you all around the campus in September, good luck with the final prep!

Hi, just wondering if you had to buy anything before starting med school at Glasgow e.g. stethoscope, dissection kit or scrubs?
