History NEA helppp pls😭🙏

I have had some personal issues and also procrastinated a bit, and now only have 13 days til my History NEA is due. I have done NOTHING. I know no content, have done no research, literally nothing 😭😭. ik the procrastination is my own fault and i regret it but im hoping there is still enough time to fix this. However, im so confused because I have no idea hoe to start. I dont know how to learn content and where i should learn it from, how to research and when writing, I dont understand how to use historians to support my arguments. Im a bit overwhelmed and have no sense of direction but im hoping I can somehow pull it off. Any advice on how to learn content, where to research and write would be GREATLY appreciated. for reference my exam board is AQA and my question is on Russia, transformation of terror from alexander II to stalin. Im trying to aim for an A, and im willing to GRIND these next days but just need some guidance 🙏. Thanks for any advice ❤️

Ok, first of all how much have you covered in class? I’m presuming you were taught content before starting on the independent work, but lmk if not.

If you were given any resources in class, USE THEM - they have been given to you for a reason.

Make sure you use content that covers every decade in the years you need to cover - it can be just one event/policy/etc that happened in each decade. Do a decade per para.

Make sure you’ve chosen your two factors to look at & compare, arguing for the one you think is a greater factor in whatever question you’re answering.

For your historians, again hopefully you’ve talked about some in class/have been given resources. If not, look up credible historians who have researched/in-detail discussed your topic 😬. You are conducting a historian debate, you need strengths and limitations to both of them, including content of things they have said, and also context of the historians writing that may affect their validity/usefulness.

I presume you also need sources as I did on mine? I used 3 sources, I believe 2 were letters & one was something else (can’t remember till I dig it all up). DO NOT do 3 of the same type of source (e.g. do not use 3 letters).

My NEA topic was different so I can’t be of that much help, but I can dig up some planning materials I used so you can get an idea of the structure if that would help?

I was not taught content before starting the independent work. And for covering each decade, my school has told me to format my essay into 3 themes for AO1, so I have chosen secret police, treatment of political opponents, and army. So if i was to cover each decade in each of my theme I would sort of go way above my word count, so how do I manage this? And if you are able to give some planning materials that would be so helpful. tysm.
