Radiography

Hi!
Does anybody do or planning to do Radiography? I would really like some insight into the career and also regarding what A-levels I should choose. I also dislike physics a lot - will this be an issue?

Hey @zainabmohamed

Hope you're well! I'm not a Radiography student but I do know that one science A-Level would be helpful; ideally Biology or Physics (even if you were to do BTEC Applied Science some universities do accept that). So don't worry too much about not liking Physics, as each university differs and will probably consider other subjects depending on their entry requirements so it's worth having a look online.

Also, you could try getting work/shadowing experience in a Radiography department at a nearby hospital - that would really help you understand the career in depth. It's super rewarding, like all healthcare careers, and there's definitely many areas you can specialise in too (I'm sure other reps may have experience of studying it and can tell you their pov's). Good luck 🙂
