Accommodation search

I was searching for a new accommodation using spare room and it was going well. I narrowed down a list of accommodations.
To contact landlords advertising those rooms, I had to login. I forgot my last login so I made a new account using an email that's supposed to protect our personal data better than others (protonmail)

But I was blocked.

Then I tried to create an account again, using gmail and it went well.

To contact a landlord about an advert, I was required to pay subscription as the advert is new. I didn't want to miss out on this room.
So I contacted spare room requesting a free trial due to financial difficulties. It was embarrassing sharing that personal matter. But they replied back saying they have blocked my new account, as they want me to provide my ID with there being an account that was blocked earlier! I didn't provided ID before. Then I gave up as I will not share my ID to strangers I have never met.

I only provide ID to well-known companies like the bank. For my bank account, I visited the bank. So I knew who the people were and I trusted the bank. But I don't feel comfortable providing my personal data to strangers online. I won't change my mind about it, as I take my online safety seriously.

Before I give up on the adverts I found, especially with a specific room at an ideal location I came across, I thought I'll try my luck here.

- Is there anyone, especially someone with a paid subscription who can forward my message?

I'd like confirmation about the advert details like rent, term and arrange an online viewing.
