A level arabic as a mature student

Hello,

Im a 23 year old student and trying to retake a levels. I want to take arabic as i currently learn it but i am not sure how to go about getting support for it.

Can anyone advise on where i might be able to find a tutor or some resources that will help me to pass, and more importantly, how can i attain a grade to apply to uni with? Can i do an AS or mock at a center or with a tutor to get a predicted grade to apply with?

Thank you

Hi, i can help you understand the arabic A level exam and try help you secure a high enough grade drop me a message and i can try help.
Exam entrance i would recommend doing the full A level (A2) rather than the AS as an AS qualification is pretty much useless and doesn’t account for entrance requirements for university.
To enter for an exam you would have to find a center that is willing to let you take the exam as a private candidate, i did my GCSE arabic exam when i was in year 10 and had to get entered privately for it as my school refused to enter me for it my exam centre was a all girls school which might sound weird but it was one of the only options.
I did my A level arabic exam in year 12 with zero help and very little to nearly no revision but i think my natural arabic skill carried hard as i am a native and considered my self to have a high level of arabic compared to other native speakers who live abroad/not in an arab country.
I am now in year 13 and also do bio and chem and sociology which is why I recommend doing arabic as a full advanced level (A2) rather than AS as i did my A2 arabic in year 12 and it counted towards my offer in university and they asked for only 2 more grades from 2 subjects rather than all 3 that im taking right now.
I hope this help and i hope you can drop me a message as i feel like i could explain things a lot better and in more detail.
