Can I go back to my old sixth form during year 12 as it’s currently march

I’m in year 12 currently studying 2 terrible btec courses . It is now march and I’m contemplating whether I should go back to my old secondary schools sixth form to continue studying and also to regain lost contact with my friends as since I’ve moved to a new sixth form the environment is not for me and I miss my old friends / my old school was a more familiar environment . But I’m just unsure wether my old schools sixth form would take me back in to the schools system or not because it’s technically march now . However I also don’t want to retake a year because whilst I’ve lost all contact with my good friends I will also be a year behind them which will make me feel like a huge imposter and so behind in life

I am sorry you are unhappy about your present courses. Tge best is to ask the school, but if you really don't like what you are studying now, it would be better to change now than later....

Thanks , also I have another predicament I’m studying all ctecs in sixth form but the thing is due to my attendance being severely poor in year 12 ( 65-70% I may get kicked out . However I heard in year 13 you can transfer sixth forms ? If that’s the case I really want to return back to my old sixth form due to the friendly environment for y13 . But the issue is I study ctecs but they study btecs for applied science and business . And also the bigger worry is that if I do get kicked out let’s say due to my attendance right before sitting my June year 12 exams then would I be able to even try transfer in y13 ? What would my old schools sixth form say about it
