MOVING SIXTH FORMS IN YEAR 13 due to being kicked out

May get Kicked out of year 12 / mixed opinions

I am in year 12 currently at a sixth form and the environment is very difficult to stay in , it’s currently march and I have a predicament , I’m studying all ctecs in sixth form but the thing is due to my attendance being severely poor in year 12 ( 65-70%) in march I may get kicked out . However I heard in year 13 you can transfer sixth forms ? If that’s the case I really want to return back to my old sixth form (from secondary ) due to the friendly environment for y13 . But the issue is I study ctecs currently in y12 but they study btecs for applied science and business at my old schools sixth form . And also the bigger worry is that if I do get kicked out from my current sixth form let’s say due to my attendance right before sitting my June year 12 exams then would I be able to even try transfer in y13 ? I have HUGE mixed opinions . One hand is telling me the environment I’m in for y12 now is difficult and I probably won’t come to school which means I will indefinitely be kicked out “. However my other hand is saying if I get kicked out I will regret it and my old sixth form may not accept me in y13 to be able to transfer back which means ultimately I have to retake a year . What would my old schools sixth form say about this situation and is it possible to transfer to my old schools sixth form whilst having this situation

Email your old schools sixth form and see if they can offer you a place and on what terms (eg whether you have to retake year 12 and what subjects they can offer you etc). The decision on whether this is possible depends on the school entirely.
