Best UK Masters for Greek/Classics?

I’m studying Classical Studies in Italy and I’m leaning towards a UK Masters because I like independent work (seminars, lots of reading, dissertation). I’m into Ancient Greek and Italian literature/comparative literature. Any advice on which UK Masters types fit best (Classics, Greek, Philology, Classical Reception, Comparative Lit) and what skills they expect? Also how intense is the workload?

For Ancient Greek, UCL, King's College London and Durham all have strong programmes. Classical Reception might suit you better than straight Classics given your interest in comparative literature, as it engages more directly with how ancient texts connect to later literary traditions.
Workload is heavy across all of them but if you are used to independent study from an Italian university you will likely find the transition manageable.
