A level biology help

So I do A level Math, chem, bio. I got a D in bio, B in chem, A in math in my mock. How should I balance my study between these 3 subjects. As I must need an A in bio to get to my dream uni.
Also, any tips for biology, although I feel like I know the content, I just can’t get my head around the randomness and vagueness of mark scheme. I don’t even know if it’s possible with only little over 2 and a half month

Any tips is appreciated, thanks in advance

You’ve got time, but Bio needs to become past-paper + mark scheme training, not “more content”.
Balance (until exams):
Bio 50% (biggest jump needed)
Chem 30% (keep B, push to A)
Maths 20% (maintain A with practice)
Bio mark scheme tips (works fast):
Do questions first every session (timed), then mark strictly.
Build a “mark-scheme phrase bank” (the exact wording they reward) and reuse it.
Use this structure in long answers: what happens why outcome.
Keep an error log (lost marks + correct phrasing) and redo the same Q 48 hrs later.
Daily mini plan (even on busy days):
30-45 mins Bio: 2-3 exam Qs + mark + rewrite model answer.
It’s 100% possible to move up grades in ~10 weeks if you’re consistent with exam practice.

Hey, my advice would be to make a study balance (per week):

do past papers + look at mark schemes - learn how examiners phrase answers

Active recall & Flashcards - focus on definitions, processes, keywords

Explain aloud - teaches you to structure vague answers clearly

Target weak areas first then consolidate strong topics

This should aid the improvement in grades

Ask @DerDracologe who took mathematics and biology at A levels and can certainly help you to structure a schedule.
When ypu wants to know how @DerDracologe structured the schedule and how to cope with it, you can visit his/her GYG blog.

Exam practice, making flashcards from the mark schemes and learning command word definitions can all be helpful. It can really boost your marks if you learn how to break down questions effectively. In terms of a revision schedule, what works for me is having a quite flexible sturcture where i can study a topic for example for 30-90 minutes depending on my mood and how much homework i have at the time.
