University (Biomedical sciences)

Would it be better to study biomedical sciences in a UK or Polish university? The job market isn’t that great in the Uk and post graduates aren’t getting good jobs. Considering that tuition feed are £9.5k+ where as in poland it’s cheaper or free. Would it be worth it to travel to Poland and study there (Im a polish citizen and fluent in the language). Or is the quality of education worse? Because I don’t want to spend £40-50k on a degree and be in debt for like 30 years just to work a low paying job?

If you’re Polish, fluent, and can study there for cheap/free, Poland is honestly worth serious consideration avoiding £40–50k debt is a massive win.
Quality isn’t automatically worse. It depends on the uni + how hands-on the course is (lab time, placements, research).
The key question is your end goal:
If you want NHS Biomedical Scientist in the UK, a UK IBMS-accredited degree is the easiest route. A Polish degree can still work, but it may mean extra checks/steps.
If you’re flexible (EU/industry/research) and don’t want debt, Poland makes a lot of sense.
go where you can graduate with skills + experience and not drown in debt.

If you want to be a biomedical scientist in the UK and study at a Polish university, I would recommend getting work experience in Poland as well.

If you have both education *and* equivalent work experience outside of the UK then you do not need an IBMS accredited degree. You can apply directly to the HCPC as an international applicant.
