Accelerated medicine design and development CDT

Just wanted to start a thread for this CDT. For those who're in receipt of interview invitations, it would be really helpful to post here as this gives other candidates a clearer indication of where their application stands. Feel free to post any updates.

Hey! Yeah it is, I applied to the CDT in Accelerated Medicine Design and Development like you guys. I put down an open application, (wasn't bothered about UCL or Nottingham as I wanted to keep my chances up) but I definitely had a preference for a studentship at Nottingham and luckily that's the univeristy they are considering me for.

Thanks so much for your response. And congratulations again—hope you get into Nottingham!! Just wanted to ask if the interview invitation is specific to the University or a general invitation for the CDT. Would you mind sharing the interview date just to get an idea of their timeline? Do you think these dates are dependent on the University, as in would UCL be running interviews on an independent timeline?Apologies for the multiple questions. I hope you can provide us some clarity.

No worries! I'm in my second year of PhD applications after not having had any interview invitations or offers last year, so I can understand how anxiety inducing the process can be! Happy to help

I see what you mean after reading their sentence, but I am certain that the 5 minute presentation they're referring to is to be delivered by the applicant. From my understanding, you'll be delivering a presentation for 5 minutes, followed by the panel's questions.
