University of Sheffield Accommodation?

Hi! I was wondering whether there's a confirmed opening date in March for the 2026/27 accommodation self-selection portal and when the system will go live for applicants in my position?

Many thanks

Hello,

Applying to University Accommodation - the link should now be open so if you follow this and click onto Apply Now, you should be able to see available rooms.

You have until June to finalise your options and rooms are also released in waves as well so if there aren't any rooms to your liking, if you wait for a bit, they may be released at a later date.

Hope that helps and let me know if you have any questions about life in Sheffield!

Hello,

When I click on the 'Apply now' button it brings up an error:
Something Has Gone Wrong
An unknown error occurred.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the last action you tried to perform caused an error, which has been logged. You could try going back and trying again, though the same error could occur again.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi! Yeah, this is happening to me too. I rang the accommodation office and they said it wouldn't go live for at least a couple of weeks, but I will keep trying anyway.

Hiya!

Apologies this has happened to so many of you guys! We're not too sure why the system isn't working on your accounts, if you are still experiencing the same problem it would be worth contacting the Accommodation Services directly with these details:
[email protected]
+44 114 222 4488
They will be best to give you advice on how to resolve this and get your accommodation booked! Please don't be concerned about any delay either, accommodation is released in various stages and so the final release won't take place for a while and so there will still be opportunities to get your choice of accom!

Hope this is helpful, sorry I couldn't help to resolve the problem itself! Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with
