Computer science NEA

Heya! Im an AS student and I am doing my NEA for computer science right now however I am not sure which free coding website or platforms are excellent for coding NEAs and incoprorate HTML,CSS and JavaScript. Any suggestions?

VSCode is really worth it imo - It has a lot of features built in to deal with making websites, and it's overall really useful. I wouldn't particularly recommend any website-based platforms though, as I prefer to work with physical files as opposed to "On The Cloud"

It's also possible to write websites out in notepad? I know someone who does that, who is an AMAZING programmer, but it might not be your style lol

Also, it could be worth it to look into software like XAMPP, which can host a website over localhost and hook up to things like SQL servers. Very useful for my personal projects.
