Look at your most recent Language past paper. What did you do well? What didn’t go well? Where did you lose marks? Did you skip planning? Run out of time? Be honest with yourself.

Compare this with other past papers you’ve done. Are the mistakes consistent? If the same issues appear again and again, that’s your priority list. This whole reflection process should take you an hour max, and by the end you’ll have a clear checklist of the questions you struggle with and the marks you tend to lose.

I know past papers can feel tedious, but do one full paper with your checklist in front of you so you’re actively avoiding the mistakes you usually make. Don’t rush — before you start timing yourself, you should be able to answer the questions properly.
