Starting a course in 2nd year, can it ever become part of my degree?

Hi all

Currently studying English Lit at Glasgow Uni, in first year. Basically, I ended up being unable to take a course I wanted to this year because of another required course causing a scheduling conflict.

I'd like to take this class to degree-level, that was my initial plan before I realised this conflict was a thing.

I was wondering if, at Glasgow Uni, there's anyway to start a course in 2nd year and either make it part of your degree or, possibly, stay an extra year to finish out the course and get a seperate degree?
Hi,

I would highly recommend you to have a discussion about this with your study advisor. You can find them at your MyCampus page under the title of academic advisor. They will be the best point of contact to plan out your degree journey properly. As they can advise you the best route to go on with the subject.

Hopefully that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
