Congrats on your offer! I have an offer from Exeter for English Lit and Film Studies
The course looks really good, Devon is a beautiful area, and the campus is lovely. How about you?

Hi! Congrats! Yes I have an offer for Medicine. It is definitely my 1st choice. I love the campuses and the city. The city seems to be on the smaller side which is what I'm looking for with good hikes and beach close by too.

i love the city too however exeter may be a bit too modern for my liking (i personally prefer older, more stuffy universities like durham). plus also it's a relatively small city so i may get bored after 3 years lol. what are the pros and cons for you?

That's fair enough! I haven't had much of a chance to explore the city, but it being on the smaller side is a positive for me, as I'm not really a major city person; I'm with the other replier on preferring the country and coast. I agree with you though about the older universities- the architecture and the traditions and such are awesome
I don't really have any significant cons for Exeter to be fair, it's currently my second choice (I haven't had a response from my first choice yet). Which university/ies are you leaning towards?

well my first choice is durham but they haven't yet gotten back to me. my second choice is manchester since i like the city and the course is nice too. however exeter's english course is ranked a bit higher so i may reconsider.... but anyway i can't make any definite decisions yet since i haven't heard back from all my unis (just durham really, they really are taking their time...)

If it makes you feel any better, I'm in the same position haha. If you prefer Manchester though, don't go for Exeter just because of the ranking! I hope you get an offer from Durham soon!
