UK visa sponsorship after MSc

I’m an international student (Ghana), BSc Physician Assistant, looking for a 1-year UK MSc that leads to a sponsored job after graduation. I’m open to non-patient-facing roles. Which NHS or NHS-linked roles are most likely to offer Skilled Worker sponsorship (clinical research vs health informatics/data vs management)? Any advice on searching and what employers look for? 🙂

If your goal is 1-year MSc sponsored job”, just be careful: the MSc helps, but sponsorship is decided by the employer + role, not the uni. Most realistic sponsorship lanes (NHS / NHS-linked):

Clinical research (Research Practitioner / Research Assistant / Trials / Data manager): often better than people think because some trusts do sponsor for the right posts, and your healthcare background helps.

Health informatics/data: good long-term, but lots of NHS “data analyst” adverts literally say not eligible for sponsorship (they often prioritise internal/NHS experience).

Management: hardest for sponsorship unless you’re already in the system and moving up.
