Should i apply to UCL stats econ finance?

Hi my name is katie ! I’m in year 12.

My dream university is UCL and I love studying economic at home by myself , i do business maths psychology at school as economics wasn't available and I want to pursue finance in the future. I have a paid internship with EY , summer and easter work experience placements and have entered a few essay competitions but have not won any. My epq is also on ‘has modern consumer culture, shaped be behavioural economic factors, influenced the strategic direction and economic growth of the fashion industry.

I feel like my personal statement won’t be strong , im predicted A*A*B but i feel like i can get it to A*A*A by the end of year 13.
I want to apply to Ucl , Kcl , warwick and manchester however for UCL’s course i dont have any of the preferred subjects : further maths ,chemistry, economics, physics, statistics
I only do maths out of the preferred subjects

shall i take the risk and apply or is it not worth it ?

Hi,

UCL’s entry requirements for finance is a required maths and preferred further maths. You’re starting a paid internship with EY and you’ll meet the required grade for A-levels maths. If you do construct a strong personal statement then in my opinion it is worth giving it a shot and applying to UCL. However, make sure you meet all the entry requirements of your other 4 choices.
