Need your help in choosing firm offer for Medicine

I am not familiar with medicine applications nor uni experience in the UK. Have joined this forum for diverse perspectives so seek your help here.
Our daughter has received 5/5 offers(Imperial, Manchester, Newcastle and HYMS Medicine offers and Strathclyde for Pharmacology) this year. She is torn between Imperial and Manchester to choose her firm offer and between Manchester and Strathclyde to choose her insurance offer particularly given how close the grade requirements are across all three options(A*AA for Imperial, AAA for Manchester and AAB for Strathclyde).
She cares far more about her life in uni (in terms of mental wellbeing, social life and competitive nature and her own risk appetite towards a gap year or clearing should things not go to plan) than prestige alone. What would you advise?
Last but certainly not the least, we acknowledge how fortunate our daughter is to be in this position to choose and how stressful this time is for so many talented applicants while they await an update on their applications. Wishing each of the very best.

Hi, I am not familiar with all the unis, so it is difficult to advice. Assuming you are in UK, did you go visit all the places? There should be offer holders day, i will go to the ones my daughters has got offers from, before firming and insuring. Also, your daughter should decide whether she still wants to consider pharmacology... and there is a big difference between A* and A, so that is also something to consider. We are very undecided as well, but are still waiting on 2 unis...

We have been to all the universities and yes, we are in the UK. Her current performance in recent mocks is A*AA hence the dilemma.

Hi, I don't want to sound pessimistic, and for context my daughter is predicted A*A*A, but you never know what happens at the exams... it makes sense to have a firm that is the uni your daughter prefers, and an insurance if possible with lower grades. Which uni/place did she like the most? And what about pharmacology? Is it still a contender or not? Good luck with your choices and as always, fingers crossed for all the yp applying to medicine 🤞

Attend the offer holder days to get a feel for the place.

It is otherwise very hard to advise because what is important for one candidate will vary hugely compared to what is important for another.

If she wants med school Strathclyde is out of the picture - why insure pharmacology with 3 med school offers? Congrats btw!

Firm Imperial and insurance Manchester or Newcastle - whichever she likes best (med school city etc). She needs to be happy with the uni she chooses as her shell spend 5+ years there.

If you're serious about medicine then pharmacology would never have been selected at all, let alone as a back up.
