🎓 Welcome to the Official 2027 Entry Thread for the University of Nottingham! 💚

Whether you’re thinking about applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course in 2027, this is your go-to space to connect with other applicants, ask questions, and get advice and updates from the University of Nottingham #UoN team and our student ambassadors.

We’re here to help you navigate every step of the application journey from personal statements and course choices to funding, visas, and what to expect next.

🏆 We’re proud to be ranked among the Top 100 universities in the world (QS World University Rankings 2025), and we’re the top UK university for graduates entering highly skilled jobs (HESA Graduate Outcomes 2024).

💡 A quick note on funding and scholarships. We understand that cost is a significant factor in decision-making, particularly for international students, so we’re always happy to discuss it here on the thread. NEW: For international applicants starting from 2026, the University of Nottingham offers automatic scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate study. International undergraduate applicants who achieve AAA (or its international equivalent) will automatically receive a £5,000 scholarship, which will be deducted from their first-year tuition fees. International postgraduate (master’s) students will automatically receive a £3,000 scholarship, deducted from tuition fees.

There’s no separate scholarship application for either if you meet the criteria and enrol, the award is applied automatically. If you’re unsure how this applies to your qualifications or course, please don't hesitate to ask.

📅 Stay in the loop. We’ll be posting updates throughout the year, including information about Open Days in June, September, and October, application tips, and practical guidance as your plans develop.

💬 Let’s get the conversation started a few icebreakers: What made you consider the University of Nottingham? Are you working on your personal statement or application? International students how are you preparing for visas and funding? Thinking about postgraduate study or a career change? What’s motivating you?

Whatever stage you’re at, feel free to ask questions, share your thoughts, or just say hello 👋 Our team and TSR Student Reps are here to offer friendly, honest advice and real insight into life at Nottingham.

We’re looking forward to supporting you on your journey to becoming part of our global UoN community

Best wishes, The University of Nottingham Official Ambassador Rep Team 💚
