University of Suffolk Hygiene and Therapy

Hi all
I was wondering if anyone who is currently studying this course could share some info on the structure of the week with hours and days of attendance? If I am lucky enough to get a place then it'll mean adjusting our current childcare so any info would be greatly appreciated 😊

Hey I don’t go to uni of Suffolk but Ik a girl who does. They do 2 days of placement in the dental clinic n do placement is 6wk blocks. Durin the wk I think they’re in 3days a wk average for lectures. Max 4. There’s lectures, clinical training n placement but I don’t think they make u do all 3 at the same time within a wk so it’s not as overwhelming.
In first yr I don’t think ull hav placement till Semester 2(Jan-April). Overall on average I think ud b in like 3-4days durin the wkdays, maybe if they did any modules online ud go in less but i think its mostly in person.
So 3days average after the first term. Hope that helps xx
