Wrong predicted grades

My school sent of the wrong predicted grades on my ucas and I only realised when I got two rejections from LSE and Durham for not meeting the minimum entry requirements. We can’t see what our teachers put into our ucas so I confronted my teachers about it the next day and I was right. I was predicted AABCA instead of A*A*AAA. Even the school isn’t quite sure how they got the grades so wrong. Basically after this I was told that the school can only email the uni and explain that it was an administrative error a send the correct grades and hope the uni reopens my application. Is it likely they actually will review my application or do I have to take a gap year now / go to a different uni through clearing?

Unfortunately, you are at the mercy of the universities.
