Oxford astrophoria foundation year and Oxford physics

Can I apply for both Oxford physics and the foundation year also or is it one or another which is what I’m assuming as the foundation year is for people with lower grades. Also can I apply to the foundation year with acquired grades if I miss what I need for normal Oxford physics and do I need to take the ESAT for the foundation year?
Cheers

You can only apply for one or the other in the same year. Applying to Astrophoria Foundation Year counts as your one Oxbridge application.

You can apply to either with your actual grades, if you have already take your A-levels. You can’t apply for the Undergraduate course and then ask to switch to Foundation if you don’t get an offer, though.

There is no Foundation Year in Physics. There is only Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering Science.
