Human vs vet physio help

I've been offered a place on a vet physio course (4 year masters) and I'm planning on doing an accelerated masters in human physio afterwards which'll be another 2 years. I want to work on a sports team (team gb is the goal) as a human physio and then do animal physio and maybe zookeeping on the side/at another point in my life but I don't know if me doing the 4 years of vet physio first would jeopardise my career prospects in the human physio world? I've already got a diploma in animal management so I'm not sure whether to just go all out in the human physio and not do the vet physio course at all. Very stressed any advice would be much appreciated 😂

Don’t stress! The process is quite overwhelming. Here are my honest thoughts (happy for anyone to jump in as I am on the vet side of things in my own career path)

Why not start with human physio if your main dream is working with sport teams like team GB? You could always do vet physio later if/when you need it (these are two quite different paths.). Be prepared the competition to work with team GB might be fierce!

nobody would look down on you for having vet physio before human. 🙂

It doesn’t make too much sense spending four years doing the vet physio course with the aim to then immediately do human when you could save time and money jumping right into human physio. You can get zookeeping apprenticeships if you ever wanted to enter zookeeping later down the line!
