Student Finance for a second degree

Hi!

Im about to graduate from a Biomedical Science Degree however I want to do my masters in Operating Department Practice at ysj! Its an undergrad funded course and of course ive done an undergrad funded course already so will I be able to get a second loan for this?

Hi Sam,

How long would the course be? Would it be full time or part time? When are you hoping to start this?

Its a 2 year course pre registration and its full time to start in September!

Operating department practice (Degree or diploma level) is one of our Allied health Professional Courses (AHP).
Funding on a new AHP or NHS course will be exempt from previous study and ELQ rules. Therefore, if the student already holds a degree or has previous study they will still be eligible to access the full package of funding (so long as they are not already registered in the field they are planning to study).
