Philosophy at Oxford : Analytical or Continental?

So I am looking to apply for Philosophy and French at Oxford, but I was wontif the course would be heavily analytical ?

I know Cambridge’s course is very analytical, which is why I choose Oxford instead

I would describe my interest as more in-line with what people say is continental philosophy. Or, in other words, I am find with doing a bit of Logic but really don’t have an interest in that side of philosophy.

I look at the Oxford website and it seems you have only 1 compulsory logic papers, and the rest of general philosophy and particularly german, french philosophy and political philosophy papers I really like.

But I’m having doubts because researching into the academic staffs - it seems like their research interests lies within logic, mathematics, philosophy of science/physics, Wittgenstein etc. - which are areas I’m not interested in.

So what is Philosophy really like at Oxford? Do they have expertise in continental philosophy? Or is their expertise only analytical?

Anyone have any insight?
