What are some practice questions/essays that will help me prepare for any question I’ll be given?

Hi @rich-fester

Here are some practise questions for each one that i have gathered doing some research (I can roughly remember doing these topics a few years ago too)

Inspector calls

How does priestley use the character of the inspector to challenge the views of the Birling family?

Compare the ways Priestley presents the older generation (Mr and Mrs birling) and the younger generation (Sheila and eric)

Christmas carol

To what extent does dickens present scrooge as a character capable of change

How does dickens use the Cratchit family and the figures of ignorance and want to highlight the struggles of the poor in Victorian england

Macbeth

How does Shakespeare contrast the character of macbeth with king duncan or malcolm

Explore how shakespeare presents ambition as a 'fatal flaw' in the character of macbeth

Hope these help, just remember to practise timed writing, time yourself based on how long you would need on a question in the test to write your answer so you are ready to be under that timed assessment

go on to Physics and maths tutor then go to English then select your exam board and the paper you want , then find the questions that apply to your texts in the paper and do those ones, its really good practice for the exams
