Bath Uni transport

What is the journey like getting from the university into city centre. Do buses run regularly and is there a big cycling scene regardless of the big hill? Let me know!

The bus schedule is here. Students arrive and depart from the Arrivals Square on campus. https://www.firstbus.co.uk/bristol-bath-and-west/your-services/bath-universities/university-bath-bath-unibus

Don't know about cycling outside of the cycling club. Enquire with them https://www.instagram.com/uobathcycling/
Hi there,

There are U1 and U3 buses which run between them every five to ten mins during term time to and from Arrivals Square on Campus and Dorchester Street in the city centre where the bus station and train station are. U2s go into Oldfield Park where a lot of second year plus students live, and we also have U4s. X39s run from Bath to Bristol (and back) every half an hour or so and you can get these from the bus station.

I am not personally a cyclist but when I make my way to campus I definitely see plenty of people with bikes and e-bikes - there is plenty of bike storage space on campus too and we do have a Cycling club. They meet most Wednesdays to do rides together and so if this is something you enjoy I'd definitely check it out - open to all levels of course.

I hope this helps, best of luck with everything 🙂
