i am so so tired (y13 vibes)

i've been getting good grades in sixth form and will no doubt get good grades in the final exams as well but right now i just feel so so tired and burnt out. i don't want to do it anymore. my brain is begging for a summer break or a break of any kind.
please tell me i'm not alone in feeling this way (and how i can drag myself out of this mess)

Hi Comp Sci Rep here from Uni of Staffs,
Completely understand how you are feeling, during my a-levels I grinded and grinded until I was severely burnout! You're at that final push and it can be hard to think about what comes next. Assuming your exams are in June, you only have ~3 months to go. The holiday after will be amazing and seem like forever, especially if you are excited to move to University, I know I was counting down the days to the big move.

If you need to, take a break for a week. One week. Set aside the books, go to the park, hangout with friends, do what you love like a hobby and then come back to studying after. Studying should not be constant every day of every week, it should be spaced out to give you time to yourself. You've got this, but you can only do it if you put yourself first.

I found that motivational quotes and little notes to myself really helped for me. I'd stick a post-it somewhere I can see daily to say "You've got this" "You can do it" "University is so close!" "You will get that grade" or anything else that pushes you. Would love to hear what others used to motivate them during year 13!

Just remember, once it's done, it's done! Hope that helps,
Aura

A lot of people feel this way at some point during their studies.
Could you not organise your studies so that you get a day/morning/afternoon off every week. Use that time to chill/do things you enjoy.

Hi,

I can really relate to this as a third-year university student. Feeling burnt out is completely normal, especially during intense study periods. I’d recommend taking short breaks and creating a flexible timetable that allows time for studying as well as relaxing, doing things you enjoy, and spending time with family and friends. Remember, there’s not long to go until summer, and all your hard work will pay off!

Wishing you all the best

Hey @based_J

As others have said, lots of people feel like this toward the end of their A-Levels - i know i did! I found i felt more tired/burnt out when i had long study days. Give yourself a day off and have a little mental reset. Try and break up your studying into smaller, manageable blocks, and schedule in time to relax or see freinds and family 💕.

Best of luck
